Summary

Responsible for delivering System-wide Provider Recruiting resources in support of the MLH System’s Talent agenda. Accountable for the coordination of the daily operations of Recruiting Services, to include in-house recruiting, external agency recruiting, advertising coordination, community relations, etc. and to support the organization’s retention efforts. Supports and drives recruitment, staffing, processes, systems, and outcomes. In addition, recruits Locum providers to cover temporary vacancies in physician practices; drives and monitors compliance activities to minimize adverse impact in recruitment and selection processes; drives recruiting metrics to ensure optimal quality, cost, and service outcomes; and is directly accountable for reporting, and data analytics. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as subject matter expert on the full cycle of provider talent acquisition: recruiting, social media sourcing, screening, interviewing, and advertising/marketing, requisition process, targeted selection, referral management and networking, and hiring manager training.
  • Coordinates site visit interviews, develop agendas, communicates and coordinates with physicians, advanced practitioners, administrators, and affected internal constituents. Follow through with the interview team to collect interviewer feedback to share with leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Participates in panel interviews for providers and assists in the selection process. Extends employment offers and arranges onboarding with hiring leaders.
  • Consults with key stakeholders, regarding employment procedures, processes, supports, and facilitates system, department policies, procedures, and guidelines, regulatory and legal compliance. Conducts reporting and data analytics within the Talent Management functional discipline across the system and other databases for research, applicant tracking and new hire processing.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance and improve the overall efficiency of the recruitment experience and process.
  • Works directly with locums and contingency search firms to fill vacancies.
  • Manages special hiring projects when necessary.
  • Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.

  • Must have good balance and coordination.
